2.       Nyhavn – is an old, 17th century Copenhagen fishing port, constructed in 1670 by King Christian V. Its architecture is built with 4 similar buildings. You would want to look forward for the change of guards in the palace which spans a t about 30 to 40 minutes. The Palace is open to the Public as a tourist spot and attraction as it is considered as one of the most beautiful results of Danish builders. You could at least savor the moment by dining near the area. You will find great food everywhere in Copenhagen, Part of the reason why Denmark has lots of people coming in.
4.       Hans Christian Andersen statues – The Poet, lived in Copenhagen, particularly in Nyhavn. There he lived and died, and enjoyed every corner of the past ill populated, prostituted area of the old port. By then, Nyhavn has evolved and Tributes for the Poet has been made through statues, not only of him but of his works as well. There are 2 most famous statues that you should not miss when going to Copenhagen, Hans Christian Andersen’s statue and the little mermaid statue. Yes! The story of the Little mermaid was born in Copenhagen, and was Written by Hans Christian Andersen.
5.       The Royal gardens of Denmark – There are 3 Royal Gardens in Copenhagen that wil take your breath away. If you plan on visiting during summer, be sure to pick a period to visit these gardens.  The first is the King’s Garden at the Rosenborg castle; the second, the   Horsholm Garden and third, the Frederiksborg castle gardens.
6.       Kastellet – is a very interesting piece of Architecture, mostly because of its structural design, somewhat a star or a pentagram. Kastellet is a fortress of the Danish military. It continues to be great in Europe, as it has maintained and preserved, and one of the treasures and symbols of the Danish Fortification that used to engulf Copenhagen. It stands today, a public park as a remnant of a vast and creative history of Denmark.
